There’s something charming about being aloft in a tree, especially when it’s a purple treehouse that is big enough for adults - at least a couple of them at a time.
The original treehouse was built for children who lived on the GardenSpirit grounds (before it became GardenSpirit) but the builder neglected to put on a roof -- just some flimsy roofing paper.
So by the time Linda and Victor took over, the floor was destroyed, the walls were rotting and....well, let’s just say it took a few weeks to get the treehouse into habitable shape.
Then the three-color exterior was repainted to a gorgeous purple, scallops were added to the new roofline and finally a sturdy deck was attached for relaxing and sipping iced tea in the summer.

Two chairs and two ottomans with a table make the treehouse a great place to write, chat and dream.
