A miracle transformation ...

Back in August, 2006, our private Guesthouse was a Plain Jane "five-four and a door" house (apologies to all you "Janes" out there with five windows on the top floor, four windows on the bottom floor and a door in between).  By the end of December, it had become a magical cottage with amazing serenity and comfort.

Some highlights:

The periwinkle sunroom overlooks the private, heavily wooded back yard. Floor to ceiling windows plus skylights flood the room with natural light. New bamboo floors were installed so we can do yoga, meditation. movement and dance.

A purple dining room was designed with English afternoon tea in mind. Victor set the stage for regular afternoon tea after the Rogglis returned from the UK. Linda likes to take a wide-brimmed hat off the wall and pull on her white gloves - lifted pinky optional but recommended!

The Magical Midnight Massage Nook is tucked into a corner of the house, accented with shimmering stars and ready to relax Linda’s tense muscles with music and massage.

Outside on the deck, there’s a picnic table plus built-in benches and additional deck space for dancing, sunbathing and howling  at the moon. The oversized hot tub is a great place to listen to the mellow wind chimes.

The Twinkling Purple Treehouse is big enough for grownups and has two chairs, two ottomans and a table - perfect for journal writing.

A seven-circuit Celtic style labyrinth is located on the far side of our property, sheltered by a canopy of hardwood trees and protected from noise (except for the occasional barking Sheltie) by a deep bunker of earth.

A network of meditation paths criss-crosses the property, New gardens are emerging along the edge of the Chapel Hill gravel (with due respect to the voraciously hungry white- tailed deer).
